Course Description

Are you ready for your next audition? Join SoHo Shakes in a fun, safe, and supportive space to exercise your creativity. There's no better time than now to refine your audition materials. 8 actors will have the chance to work each class with our expert teaching artists. If you'd like to participate, please come prepared with a 1-2 minute Shakespearean monologue. If you'd like to watch, please email training@sohoshakes.org to reserve a spot. Whether participating or watching, in this class you'll watch peers workshop their speeches, participate in group exercises, and learn from feedback. This is a place to get a fresh set of eyes on your favorite speech or to experiment with something completely new! Are you ready? Let's give those classical texts a workout.
