The Sisters Workshop Production
Telling our stories from unexpected perspectives
Established in January of 2018, SoHo Shakespeare Company was formed around Founding Artistic Director Alex Pepperman's Macbeth adaptation entitled The Sisters. After that first production he teamed up with cast member & classmate Laura Yumi Snell, Founding Artistic Producer. Together, with an incredible team of artists, they have grown this company into the wonder it is today.
Since its establishment, SoHo Shakes has continued to produce extraordinary works of theatre including The Sisters, adapted from Shakespeare's Macbeth; PlayOnline: a series of online shows - including: The Sisters, Mary Rose, The Tempest, We, The People: Black Arts Matter, We The People: A Multicultural Arts Night, Guards at the Taj; and workshops of The Sisters and Mary Rose or The Woman Who Died Twice. Our 2021 season includes The Lady Doth Protest; our cabaret Fierce; and our main-stage production Le Tartuffe Orange: The Orange Hypocrite.
