James recently starred in the world premiere of Immortal Longings by Terrence McNally. He won a Helen Hayes Award for Bedlam’s Sense and Sensibility at the Folger Theatre and the American Repertory Theatre. His many Off-Broadway credits include Three Sisters with Maggie Gyllenhaal, A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Bebe Neuwirth, and Ivanov with Ethan Hawke.
